Job Opportunities



The Women’s & Gender Studies Department at Wellesley College seeks applications for a full-time, tenure track, assistant professor position to begin Fall 2017. We welcome applicants who have been trained in the social sciences and/or in interdisciplinary fields whose teaching and research interests focus in any of the following areas:
U.S. women’s history
Health, health care & social inequalities
Reproductive rights, justice and politics
Science, technology, and society (STS)

We are especially interested in dynamic and collaborative scholars who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community through their research, teaching, and service. Course load is 2-2. Candidates should be able to teach an introductory course in Women’s and Gender Studies.
