Status of Women Canada invites organizations to submit project applications under the Support for Women’s Economic Security call for proposals

Status of Women Canada is inviting organizations to submit project applications under the Support for Women’s Economic Security call for proposals, which includes two themes. The first theme, Building Partnerships to Address Systemic Barriers, encourages organizations to work together to address the systemic barriers that hold women back and limit their economic security. Examples of barriers include accessibility of childcare, wage gap and pay inequity. Projects under the second theme, Increasing Private Sector Leadership and Investments in Women, will work with private sector partners to put solutions in place that advance women’s economic security. The deadlines for applications under this call for proposals are as follows: THEME 1: Building Partnerships to Address Systemic Barriers Noon (12:00 p.m.) Pacific TimeNovember 27, 2017 THEME 2: Increasing Private Sector Leadership and Investments in Women Noon (12:00 p.m.) Pacific Time January 11, 2018 Before you get started, please read the Call for Proposals Application Guide (HTML or PDF). All required documents must be provided at the time of submission. Please note that incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Organizations located in the province of Quebec that wish to apply should contact the Quebec Regional Officeto discuss their project with a Program Officer. To increase your chances of success, we also strongly encourageyou to take part in an information session. The dates for the information sessions in English can be found below.
